Our History

For over 50 years, Owd Barn Service Centre has proudly supported the local communities of Wigan, Standish, Shevington, and beyond. Originally established by the Chapman family in the mid-1970s, the garage is now run by the McKenna family. Still family-owned and operated, it continues to uphold the same trusted values it was built on

Level 3 Mechanic

Robert is a highly skilled Level 3 Mechanic, bringing expertise and precision to every repair and service he undertakes. With a strong focus on quality workmanship, he ensures that every vehicle leaving the garage meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.

MOT Tester

Ben is our dedicated MOT Tester, making sure every vehicle that comes through the garage is safe, roadworthy, and compliant with the latest regulations. With a keen eye for detail and a thorough approach, he takes pride in giving customers peace of mind that their cars are in top condition.

Workshop Manager / Head Mechanic

Gino leads the workshop with a wealth of experience and a passion for all things automotive. As both Workshop Manager and Head Mechanic, he ensures every job is carried out to the highest standard, whether it’s routine maintenance or complex engine work.
